TUUK means a bite: the spoonful of ghee on warm rice, the drizzle over dal and the familiar aroma of dadi’s tadka. It represents comfort, love and the small moments that make a meal feel like home.
We chose the name SOMTUUK because it is deeply rooted in our heritage and carries a promise in every bite. SOM is derived from Somras, symbolising purity, nourishment and timeless tradition, while TUUK means bite, representing the joy, comfort and love found in every meal. Together, SOMTUUK reflects ghee that is rooted in tradition and made with love.
